I graduated from Oakland University in May of 2010 with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I am highly qualified in the K-5 classroom as well as in Language Arts (BX) and Integrated Science (DI), which is fancy language for: I can teach Reading, English and Science at the middle school level.
I grew up in Genesee County in a small town about 25 minutes outside of Flint. My family lived on 11 acres of land, so adjusting to "city life" in Macomb has been quite the process! The Magnificent Mile of Michigan (aka Hall Rd) still amazes me to this day. Everything is at my fingertips!
I love to read, travel, work out, spend time with my family and friends, and most of all I love to teach! I feel blessed to be able to have a career that I am passionate about. I look forward to getting to know you and your child over the course of this school year. I know it will be a great one.
